$30M Guild Accelerator Program Launched by Animoca and Brinc.
Animoca Brands joins hand with Hong Kong venture accelerator Brinc to invest and start a new Guild Accelerator Program. This new program is a huge step towards play to earn guild ecosystem which will propel the P2E games all around the world.
The new guild acceleration program will offer an investment of approximately $30 million in two years. The program aims to invest $500,000 per guild.
This new program aims to provide opportunities to millions of gamers around the world to earn from playing games, especially in third-world countries. The P2E games require a hefty upfront payment to begin playing the game which poses a problem for not-so-privileged gamers.
This is where the guild programs or scholarships come in and support players by lending money or in-game tokens.
Guild Accelerator Program
The program will give priority admission for guilds that commits to sustainability including the ones that give back to players and communities. Moreover, those guilds will also get an admission that considers the environment and works on energy-efficient proof of stake protocols and side chains.
The Guild Accelerator Program will operate within Launchpad Luna, an accelerator launched in 2021 by both Brinc and Animoca.
“Guilds can help transform education, skill development, agriculture, R&D and almost any industry where access to tools and assets historically prevented anyone with time to innovate, up-skill and thus earn a living,” Binc founder Manav Gupta.
Some of the mentors and experts in the industry that supports the Guild Accelerator Program are Howard Xu of Ancient8, Saruboti Sasuke of YGG, and Brandon Wong of Avocado Guild.

The management of digital assets in games and in the open metaverse represents a significant source of income for hundreds of millions of people.
